AN INTRODUCTION TO WORLD BUILDERS
It’s time to get your creative caps on! The Modiphius Entertainment World Builders Program allows creators from all over the world to design their own roleplaying games, supplements, characters and more using their popular 2d20 system. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your wildest creations in front of an enthusiastic community of players, and it’s all incredibly easy. Simply read the World Builders guidelines, design your content using the System Reference Document, format it using the official templates and upload it to DriveThruRPG!
GUIDE FOR CREATING CONTENT
Creators should read the World Builders Content Guidelines for clarification on the type of content Modiphius will accept. Once you have familiarised yourself with the Content Guidelines, you can download the creator resources which include templates and artwork that meet our specifications. It is also essential you use the System Reference Document. The SRD is a toolkit that explains all of the core mechanics of the 2d20 system, enabling you to create exciting experiences around Modiphius’ cinematic, high-action and dramatic ruleset.
After you have created your content, head to your account page and look in the “My Content” section. Here you can use the “Add new title” link after you agree to the Community Content Agreement. Make sure you click World Builders when uploading your document in the select program section.
Once your content is published, you can find it in the World Builders section. You’ll be able to check your sales history, view reviews, and check on your royalties using your Account page on DriveThruRPG. The “My Money” section of your account page will allow you to withdraw royalties via PayPal.
GUIDE FOR CREATING LICENSED CONTENT
In addition to the standard World Builders program, Modiphius is also offering creators the chance to create content for some of our specific IPs, namely Achtung! Cthulhu, Dreams and Machines, Five Leagues from the Borderlands, and Five Parsecs from Home. The Licensed content guidelines for these four IPs are different to the standard guidelines. You can find the Licensed World Builders Content Guidelines and creator resources below. We’ve made free art packs available for all creators to use to illustrate your work.
