Great minis, very fun to build and paint.

Good minis, you should wash them first and use quick drying superglue. Personally i found gorilla glue didn't work. Other than these non complaints the models are top tier

Some fine mutants

Got these models in the mail yesterday.

Was pleasantly suprised how crisp the models are. Almost no moldlines to speak off and have alot of fine details! They come supplied with seperate arms so if you want to do some weapons swaps or do some other customisation that should be easily doable. Once assembled they have some minor gaps between the torso and the arms. They fit relatively snuggly though so its nothing some minor putty work like greenstuff cant fix.

I do have 3 minor gripes with the models honestly.
1: The 2 mutant hounds cant really be posed in a different manner, which I found a shame. Not a gamebreaker as the super mutants are the main attraction but still, if you have more then 2 you would notice.
2: The ranged weapons seem to be abit on the light side. Pipeweapons mostly (unless im mistaken about what weapons they got?) and compared to say....the BoS they would be undergunned in a gun fight. Then again that might be on purpose. 4 out of 5 super mutants have some melee weapon on them and those seem to have the same punch if not more so then their ranged weapons :)
3: The melee weapons are really thin. Some experience with other models tells me that this means that you have to be carefull with the models because they can snap easily. If they would be just a tad thicker they would still look fine and wouldnt be nearly as fragile.

Still overall id give them overall only half a star reduction for all of this. But thats not an option it seems. Fine models!

Awesome Minis!

I've painted a set of each faction (excluding the Institute), and so far the Super Mutants seem the Easiest to paint (probably because you just need a dark green for skin, brown for the cloth and a small mix of metallic colors for the scrap bits) but also because they're mold lines are *generally* easier to take care of than a some of the raiders, survivors, brotherhood or even the Automatons. But I do agree with some the other reviews, great detail on the resin and wishing the Hounds had at least one other pose. Personally having a hard time painting eyes but who doesnt? xD
And yes, if you need the nice AI cards, The sets are well worth the money.

loads and loads

together with the starter set/hammer/suiciders and this i ended up with quite a mutant force.

models that are fun to play with.

My only consideration in the end i have 5 evildogs and wish one had a glowing hound card, But i painted one so anyways with some nice florescent and looks great in the end. A third pose would have been nice too since the dogs and nice to look at but only 2 positions for 5 models.

I will say the corresponding models 'aviator/brute' from the starter set IMO were much nicer in the detail side of things, With actual changed positions adding a nice variety instead of mirrored castings.
