Brilliant epic setting and the legendary campaign to go with it.

So many D20 campaigns start with level 1 and cap at 10. So many campaigns are promising that your heroes are the core of the campaign and they just mean core of the story told, while the story told is just a companion or side story to the story in the world.
This campaign is different. You are the heroes. This is your story. There are epic paths which are used to integrate your personal character story with the campaign story.
Your characters are the heroes. Your characters decide the outcome of the world. In a brilliant fantastic world, based on the ancient greek legends, but surpassing it with fantasy elements (allowing to play classic elves, gnomes and all the other races from different d20 worlds etc.) it invites to an epic story in a big wonderfully painted world (metaphorically and truly: artwork is brilliant! But the descriptions are wonderful, too).

It has a plot like a good novel. Always surprising the player characters, always giving them game changers and something to to think, so that they can experience the world anew.
This story is personal, for each of the characters in the groups. No one is left behind. But still: no one can sit back and just watch it unfold. You are the heroes. You will be having your journey, your base, maybe your kingdoms and finally struggle for the fate of the world.

As long as you like ancient greek legends combined with epic stories like Dragon Age and having fantasy elements from high fantasy worlds integrated: MUST HAVE.

Truly epic

I've been running Odyssey of the Dragonlords on Roll20 for about a month now and we're having a great time. The best product for a D&D game that I've seen in my 40 years gaming. You hear of adventures being called epic but none ever live up to it. This campaign is truly epic, however you define the word

Truly Epic

I' ve played D&D, in its various incarnations for over 40 years. This is, hands down, the best product for D&D that I've seen. The setting is huge in scope, the story is epic in the way of the old Greco-Roman mythologies. The book is well-wrtten and edited without typos or spelling errors.I can highly reccommend this campaign witout reservation.
